Remember opening the pages of the Sunday Times to see what Bill Cunningham saw? The picture book Polka Dot Parade is an inspiring, singular story to share with children who are captivated by photography, fashion, art-making, and city life.
A Pop-Up Comics Lab
FerryCon (Dobbs Ferry’s own Comic Con) is back this year with a great virtual line-up on Saturday, April 26th. Know a local school-age kid who loves comics? I’m teaching a free Pop-Up Comics Lab for kids grades 3-5, sponsored by the library. This course is a fun introduction to comics and a spark to make your very own!
