Teens are invited to learn about zines and make their own at this information session / workshop.
This hands-on class will introduce teens to the art of zine-making and indie small-press publishing.
We’ll briefly touch on the history of zine-making with a look at the zines produced during the 90s Riot Grrrl Movement as expressions of feminism, community, and DIY culture. Teens will have time to develop their own zine or work on ongoing projects.
